Something Has To Fill Our Time

Do you sense that the NBA is being pushed harder now than any other time in the last ten years? We hear about the deep pool of talent (though the last two drafts were pretty weak: maybe 4 players have a shot at being a superstar). And we have the classic powerhouse teams (but neither LA or Boston has changed much through the last four seasons). Is fear of an absent NFL season driving the media charge?

  1. This is the first year in awhile that the NBA has had other teams besides Boston and LA causing excitement in the league. Blake Griffin makes the Clips a must watch, the Heat and their stars, Amare in NY, Carmelo trade talks, Derrick Rose and the Bulls, Orlando blockbuster deals, Spurs outstanding record, and others. The NBA is trying to sell us on everything because for the first year in some time they have a lot to sell us on.
