The Story: Super Bowl XLV

Media Day has passed at Super Bowl XLV. Hundreds of people are charged to find a good story for the public, who haven't seen most of the season (maybe none). What is appealing about the matchup? Is it the hope that "good, ole boy" Aaron Rodgers will win, erasing some of the off-field smudge of Favre from the franchise and being a foil to Roethlisberger's nasty off-field story? Is it the Pack fighting through so many injuries? Is it the contenders themselves, being two of the three most storied franchises adding to their legacies? Mike Tomlin's youth? What is The Story for Super Bowl XLV?

  1. The biggest story of the Super Bowl is obviously THE former Jacksonville stand out...Byron Leftwich (in line to get his second Super Bowl ring). Here is a link to his media day interview.

  2. I for one am wanting the Packers to win! I think that you have to be impressed with the class act called Aaron Rodgers. He was very patient through all the retiring/not retiring Brett Favre, the join an opposing team Brett and the lastest trouble for Brett Favre.
Aaron has been patient and has come into his own. I like to see a good guy win. I may be a die hard Jaguar fan, but for this weekend...I am a cheesehead!

  3. I am with you Miss Eva. The only way to root against Rodgers is if you're a fan of an NFC North team that isn't GB.
